Pagosa River Domes

Wonderful stay. Peaceful, sooo comfy, they thought of everything!

Really cool concept, the room was spacious, and the back patio was cool.

A/C didn't work well, and the domes are in direct sunlight, so in the summer it gets incredibly hot inside. No staff on site to help with issues. The upgrades feel very cheap, the door handle broke off the inside of the bathroom door, which made it difficult to open/close. The cell service and the WiFi were terrible. The domes are not near the river, and there is no walking path to the river.

This is a cool place, but it’s right next to a busy highway so it’s rather noisy until traffic dies down after 9 or 10 p.m. The automatic entry is somewhat comical. The door kept telling us errors were made, but it locked anyway. In 90-degree heat, it took a while for the space to cool down. Overall, it was a nice retreat with a great aesthetic and it was close enough to downtown Pagosa Springs.

Amazing spot—will stay again. Great views of wildlife coming down to the river in the morning and the stars at night. Handle son front and back of bathroom door were broken, making it difficult to get in or out of the bathroom. The bed had seen much better days and it was uncomfortable and hurt my back terribly. The domes are located right by the highway, so there was traffic noise all night. But the spacious dome and lovely surroundings outside the dome window was so nice that we will stay again.

We enjoyed the uniqueness of the domes. Our rental was clean and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Being able to walk down to the river from our dome would've made the experience even better.

Much more living space than what looks like from the outside! Well set up and nice amenities like the gas fire pit, grill and hammock. I'll definitely look to go back when visiting Pagosa Springs area.

Absolutely loved staying at the Pagosa River Domes. We stayed in Dome #2. The room is adorable. Spacious bathroom, the bed was so comfy, the little kitchenette was perfect and what's not to love about looking out at the river rushing by! The additional touches of the hammock, chairs and fire pit on the patio are a total bonus. It was so peaceful to sit in front of the fire, look up at the stars and hear the river in the background. My only negative would be the lack of wifi coverage. I could only get wifi coverage if I stood at the front part of the patio. I wish they could strengthen their wifi signal so that it worked inside the domes. Other that the wifi coverage we loved our stay and if we are ever in that area again, we will definitely stay at the domes.
