Nice and convenient location from Airport and Leh City. Nicely maintained and with all required facilities.

1. Mr arjun and the staff of the hotel are very helpful, polite and very good hosts 2. The hotel has nice rooms which are clean, well furnished and all amenities taken care of 3. The decor of the hotel is tastefully done up. 4. Cleanliness is a big plus as the place is spick and span 5. 5 min drive from the airport and 5 to 10 mins to leh market. Very walkable 6. Wifi and smart tv available in all rooms 7. The view from the rooms is breathtaking

1. The approach to the hotel is little congested and confusing. But then that is all about hills. The pace of construction is outgrowing the infrastructure of the town 2. No lift. Anyone who flies in is required to accilimitise and not exert much initially. The lower rooms have no view and the 2nd floor requires one to climb 2 floors which wasnt an issue with us, but for those who are not accustomed to rarified and less oxygen environment will go breathless. So that definitely is a minus 3. Food prices : EXHORBITANT is the only word. A cup of tea costing around 150 rs or an aloo paratha worth 180 rs and the most of all two slices of bread for 120 Rs or an omlette and bread above 200 rs is outlandish. One might initially think that leh being a far flung area and supplies dependent upon plains is the reason. But walk 200 mtrs into the market and any and everything is as reasonable as in plains. Infact a meal for two in a good eating joint is anywhere between 500 to 700 rs. And in yarab tso we ended up paying almost 4000 rs for one third the amount of food. They seriously need to review their food prices. Save your hunger and pocket for a place like the tibetan kitchen which is hardly a distance or for the lehvenda cafe or leh cafe.

Good property and staff, helpful. Even with the areas of improvement that have been listed below, I'd still give this hotel a good rating because of their service and how much they accommodated us.

Slightly inflexible with service timings, with no room service (even for tea) around 10:30pm, which isn't too late. I'd ask the hotel to do better here. Rooms are a tad bit smaller than the pictures. Limited food options.

The view of snow capped mountains from all windows is fantastic. The room size is big and the king size beds very comfortable. The room can easily accommodate 4 pax. We are 3 seniors who visited in April 2024 for 4 nights. It's was cold. Very cold. First night we were provided with 3 room heaters. Remaining 3 nights Mr. Stanzin had instructed the staff to switch on central heating. We did not need room heaters after that. Even the washroom was warm! We stayed in Room 308. The breakfast spread looked good however we stuck with toast butter & coffee. We spent our first day in the hotel acclimatising. Had delicious Chicken Thupka Soup for lunch. Mr. Stanzin's communication from the time of booking was prompt and I appreciate that. I had a lot of questions which were replied to immediately even though he had other urgent personal matters to take care of. All staff were very helpful & polite. Arjun at the reception took care of our needs. Thanks to all of them

Very limited options in food. Mostly the dishes from the menu card won't be available. No tandoor items were available for the entire stay . Food gets really boring , so please explore options outside ..

Location is excellent. Super nice view. Super friendly staff and respectful. Breakfast was good and requests were accommodated for individuals. Early check-in accommodated. Friendly advice on how and what to do in Ladhakh and how to go about permits for foreigners etc...

Heating is limited, we felt. Say for example, heating starts from 4.00 pm, but closes somewhere in the night. So sometimes we felt too hot, or a little too cold. We are sure this could be rectified easily. *Also for a double bed one full mattress would be ideal, than two mattresses joined together. Thank you!
