Olive Zip is a conveniently located hotel chain, offering connectivity. Known for its friendly pricing and accessible locations, it’s a practical choice for those looking for semi comfortable stay without overspending. However, there are a few caveats to this. However, overall, if you’re just looking to put your head down and have a fairly clean room to move around in while you explore the vibrant city of Bangalore, this is ideal. The definite highlight of this Hotel is its location and an excellent café seconds from the hotel. Do you make sure you go and get a filter Coffee when you arrive.

While most hotels typically carry out housekeeping in the morning—when guests are out for the day—this was not my experience here. I had checked out early in the morning and clearly indicated that I wanted my room to be cleaned by placing the “please make up my room” sign on the door, as well as mentioning it to staff before I left. However, when I returned at around 2:30 PM after a full day of sightseeing, my room had still not been tidied. It was disappointing to come back to an untidy space, especially when I had expected a clean and refreshed room to relax in. I noticed housekeeping carts still on the floor, which made it even more confusing as to why my room had not yet been attended to. When I raised this with reception, I was informed that cleaning for my floor typically begins in the afternoon around that time. This was quite surprising and, frankly, inconvenient—guests shouldn’t have to wait until mid-afternoon for basic housekeeping, especially when a request has already been made. I also mentioned that the towels provided upon check-in were not up to standard, which was another reason I had requested an early clean. I was then told that priority is given to rooms that are due for check-out or new arrivals. While I understand operational demands, it felt as though current in-house guests were being deprioritised, which is not ideal. To their credit, they did offer to send someone up after I raised the issue, but by that point, the experience had already been affected. As I was only staying for one night, I had hoped to fully enjoy a clean and comfortable room during my stay, which unfortunately didn’t happen. Overall, this was a significant letdown and left a disappointing impression. Staff had minimal information about everything and did not offer any type of service let alone an exceptional service.

Best ambience..best services..best location!! Rooms are 10 on 10.. well maintained..good quality.. good staff.. affordable price!! Free wifi with good speed!!

Rooms are a bit small in case u like spacious hotels.. but still a good deal at the price point!!
