Not many st down restaurants near the hotel

This hotel was very nice, and comfortable, but the front desk staff lacked friendliness, and seemed almost annoyed by us. It was a bad first impression. The location is good, it's a clean place to stay, and close to Geneva on the Lake (if you plan to go visit there). The Starbucks location, being on the same street, was a nice plus too. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, if it weren't for the overall vibe we got from staff members on the first floor. I will say, the housekeeping staff is excluded form this opinion. We had very positive interactions with them.

Property condition was excellent. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety. My only complaint about this hotel was the lack of a hot tub at the pool area and the noise level from the hallway and the room above us. You could hear people stomping around all night.

The hotel was very nice. The mattress was uncomfortable, it was a bit too firm.

Stayed for three nights and everything was great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities are in great condition.

Top notch hotel.
