Brewhalla Hotel

First of all Brewhalla as a whole is amazing. The staff went out of their way, were very friendly, and comped us some beers when the system wasn't working to use the underground parking. The market is fantastic, food options werw delicious, drinks are incredibly delicious and unique. We loved the creativity of the rooms and the size. It's also nice to get a 6oz sample of the drinks at check in. The bed was also super comfy.

Our room wasn't as clean as we would have liked such as there were confetti and hair on the rug. Also things were broken like the fridge had water dripping in it and the TV in the bedroom had a broken piece hanging off. There were no cups for the coffee maker. Like I mentioned above we had paid for underground parking but after trying several times to park we were told there was a glitch in the system. They did amazing with making it right. The worst thing of all was the almost total lack of hot water.

Good location, easy to get to. Beds were very comfy.

I thought they should have told us the elevator was out of order when we made the reservation. All the rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floors so we had 2 flights of stairs to walk up. My husband is 80, I'm 76. Glad we packed light!

It’s a unique hotel, with cafes, shops and amusements on the first two floors, and rooms on floors 3 & 4. I booked during a busy weekend for much of Fargo - graduation from NDSU. It’s one of the few hotels that offers charging stations for an EV, which I require. I also paid an extra $15 for secure underground parking, assuming this would also have a charging station.

The exterior charger in the parking lot didn’t work. The hotel staff checked it out and said it couldn’t be fixed. But I was assured that the one in the garage would work. Maybe it would have, but it was incompatible with my car (non-Tesla.) I knew I’d have to get a charge elsewhere in the morning. There is no front desk, but the bartender is supposed to be available from 8am. I wanted quite a while, finally one of the staff noticed me and went to get help. I asked for an adjustment (since I booked there because of the charger) and they refunded the garage fee and offered a 4-pak of my choice. I headed to a local store, paid for charging and spent an hour shopping while waiting. Not disastrous for me, but charging facilities really do need to be taken seriously. Otherwise, my stay was fun, my relatives and I had fun wandering around the shops and crowd watching. When I finally did retire, the room was pretty quiet, despite being next to train tracks. Quiet hours on the weekends don’t begin until midnight, so there’s a booming bass beat that permeates until then. I did manage to fall asleep despite it.

Liked the ease of the check in. Liked the aesthetics and that the room was spacious. Liked the hand soap, lotion, etc. smell. Bathroom had ear plugs by the cosmetic remover.

There was someone else's half eaten ice cream in the freezer. No dish soap or dishwashing products for me to do the dishes that we used. The shower was ADA - but had to be super careful not to flood the floor by the toilet with water when you shower. Really sucked that the elevator was not working on Sunday when we left and we had to lug all of our stuff down from the third floor. I did not realize there was the Fargo Adult Prom there the same weekend and it was pretty loud until midnight. Coffee pods in the room were just okay.
