The Embers Hotel

Super stay of 5 nights over the July 4th weekend. Room was on 2nd floor facing the town. Afforded us with great view, nice cool morning and afternoon, evening breeze. Were able to view from the balcony the parade on morning of the 5th and then a surprise viewing of fireworks display from a nearby location, all from the balcony. We mostly came up for the cooler air, but got so much more. Hotel has only one guest elevator that was out of service for a few hours. We went out and upon returning found it was repaired. Great job to the management for getting this attended to so quickly. Just a couple of suggestions. First is to get the main entry doors on automatic electric openers. This really should be a priority, comifrom someone that has been involved in hotel construction for many years. 2nd is, and trying to be picky, but the young lady that was attending the bar really would be so much better with a smiling attitude towards the guests. She always appeared to be so busy that it was too much trouble when asked for assistance. Yes, she did the job, but given the bar is a prominent focal point when entering the hotel, the attitude displayed is very much also a focal point. Food for thought. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will return.

Great location, room and dining! Thumbs up to the staff for a wonderful stay. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, although very noisy due to adjacent bar.

New hotel, just over a year old. Well laid out room and bathroom and easy walk to Main Street where all the quaint stores, coffee shops and restaurants can be found.

Great hotel! There was a little bit of a mix up with the room that we reserved but then they comped an additional room for our kids and I really appreciated them working with us. We ate breakfast in the hotel and it was REALLY good! We will be back.

This is a very good hotel. A lot of effort into quality & pleasant decor & amenities. The rooms could use another comfortable chair. We requested another chair & it was quickly delivered. They did not honor our request for a queen size bed. The room was a bit small for the king bed. The bed was comfortable. And the personal were very helpful.
