Melrose River Club Resort

I liked the location and the alternative “room type.” I also liked the privacy and ability to sit outside and enjoy the natural environment of San Marcos, TX. I did not like that the location of my reservation was so close to the the roadway that you could hear busy traffic.

This property was perfect!! The people were extremely kind! My husband and I stayed in the smallest container they had and it was just right for what we needed. I do wish there had been a chair for sitting and drinking coffee or even just to put your shoes on. Haha! Next time we will get a bigger place! I truly like that there were people on site in case you needed anything. The owner Max has really made this property one that you will go back to!!

The location, the well maintained landscape, the riverside lounge, the pool atmosphere was fantastic

the sofa bed was very hard A/C was too noisy comfortable heat downstairs made the upstairs very hot no shower in upstairs bath

It was a weekend getaway with my husband away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to a tranquil quiet place where the ambiance was lovely.

Our new favorite spot! So beautiful and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and welcoming we cannot wait to go back!

This is a cute and unique property with several cabins and container housing options. I stayed in a container cabin and it was great for one person. It may be tight for two but it was super cute and well designed. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or river but it looks like a great place to enjoy the sun and water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Melrose. Such a fun and unique property. We enjoyed the bar area by the pool. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The tiny home was cute, clean, and practical. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were so thick they hurt my neck. We found that the living room gets very cold but not the bedroom. Overall great stay!

This is our second stay at Melrose river club in the same year we LOVE IT They do a Text system to ask for things and they are ON IT! Such a great property and staff ! Only small complaint is the bed is a bit hard for my taste some deep cushiony mattress pads would solve that ! We love it here and will continue to stay if we are in San Marcus :)

Spotless. The bed quality was amazing, the split AC unit was so great. The water Pressure was amazing. Parking right outside the unit. I noticed that the unit had an outdoor shower, which would be great if you use the pool, or access to the river. I know this is a new facility so check it out.
