Good enough to walkaround

I'll start this as we are an active retired early 60's couple who booked this room day we checked in. As the name implies you are right downtown Sister Bay! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in SB including the beach area and Peaches brewery. The room is exactly that..you get a room. There is no closet or storage area. Coffee pot in the room! Also a small refrigerator. Bathroom is small but has a great shower head and plenty of hot water! Parking is free.Rooms are noisy since right on road but we sleep with a sound machine so not an issue for us. Check in was easy. Of note, front desk only staffed from 2pm-7pm. We would stay here again since all we need is a clean place to put our head at night and to shower!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Close to the lake with a cute beach.

Close to everything in town- walkable

Within walking distance to several shops, bars, and restaurants. Pretty view of the downtown strip. Older hotel, room was clean and well cared for, on the small side, but we were only there to sleep and shower. Would stay there again!

No microwave in the room. Remodelled room could use a ceiling fan to help with humidity.

This hotel is at the top of the little hill and the start of the main drag and near everything. Nice and quiet.

The air conditioning unit didn’t keep up. Very stuffy in our room. Pretty noisy location. Stairs going up to second floor very sketchy. Expensive. Picture is our water view.

I have stayed at the Downtown Inn before and have always loved it. They just remodeled all of their rooms and they are gorgeous. Loud that it is a small property with lots of landscaping and porches/desks to sit on.
