Laura, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She truly embodied that classic Western hospitality you don’t come across every day. The hotel was clean, cozy, and had a homey charm that made it feel like a peaceful and welcoming place to land in the mountains of Idaho City. I’d absolutely stay again. I only stayed for the night, but I wish I had stayed longer to check out all the neat western stores and restaurants in walking distance. Great stay!
Old updated Hotel, all rooms are upstairs that are neat and comfortable !
USRoom was small, bed was too big for room leaving little to no space to even move around the bed. Small nightstands due to bed taking up the whole room. No other tables or places to sit anything and no room for suitcase.
Super easy check-in, authentic historic vibes, and Laura found my lost sweater, sleepy mask, and earbuds! Sincere 🙏 thanks!

Excellent little hotel. Quiet, clean and comfortable.
The Idaho City Hotel was fine - small, clean, quiet. Had to check in at a bar. Took awhile to find someone that knew how to do the check in. Innkeeper was nice. No problem there. Didn't like the town. Couldn't find anything to eat except in a couple of nasty bars. Everything closed for July 4th. We would not return.
Very unique. Small, but clean room. Community kitchen had a microwave, Keurig and full size refrigerator. Limited utensils and plates.
