The location and facilities were great. But the service was what set this property apart. The owner/manager was very communicative. Told us exactly when our room would be ready and asked us when we expected to arrive so she could ensure the room was ready or make our room preparation a priority if we were going to get there early. We were in Morro Bay for one night as we needed to move our college freshman out of his dorm. We didn't expect him to be with us overnight but when our plans changed, they were able to accommodate us with a roll away bed. Speaking of beds -- the king bed in our room was incredibly comfortable and the scent in the room felt like we were sleeping in a spa. Even my husband commented on how good the aroma was. Sarah at the front desk was wonderful as well. She showed us to our room, introduced us to the amenities, which included fresh cream in the refrigerator for coffee, board games, a fire pit on our private balcony, and an in-room fireplace. Sarah even offered -- and we accepted - to taxi us to (and from) a nearby restaurant in the property's golf cart. Sarah could not have been friendlier. She really made our short stay extra special. We highly recommend this property and this will be our go-to stay in Morro Bay.

No complaints. Although there is not a specific place to park, we were able to find parking nearby and, if we couldn't, they offered to taxi us to and from our car in the golf cart. This isn't a complaint on the property as Morro Bay does not allow privatized parking on the Embarcadero Street and Cherise and the hotel have done all they could do to overcome this restriction. And ultimately it wasn't an issue at all.

The staff is very welcoming and joyful. The view’s are amazing a very home vibe hotel.

I was in the octopus room - The attention to detail was refreshing. From the color of the walls to the wall art to the fireplace and even access to an iPad. The private deck was really cool too. Very friendly staff who checked my in. Will recommend for sure.

My fiancée, our two sons, and I recently stayed here, we reserved a room with an unforgettable view of Morro Rock and the ocean, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly professional and courteous, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Our room had a spacious restroom and a large, modern shower, and we especially loved the balcony with a cozy fire pit—perfect for enjoying the calming sea breeze. Parking was easy, and the location made it simple to walk to nearby shops and restaurants in every direction. It was a perfect stay for our family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again soon.

The rooms were fresh and decorated beautifully.Patio ,and furniture was top notch.Beds were comfortable and very high end bedding.3 options for shower heads were fantastic.Overall grade would 11 out of 10.We will be back.Close to some great restaurants also 👍
