The Melrose Hotel

The employees were all very sweet and gave us great ideas for where to go, what to see and genuinely concerned for our safety as tourists.

This is not a reflection on the property itself or the employees, but the neighborhood is not the best. However the area in front if the hotel was kept clean and litter free.

Hotel is amazing, hyper comfy and functional. All of that is new and clean.

location was a little bit scary to walk back from metro ... guess lots of nyc is like that now ..drunken addicts veering toward syou

chek in chekc out could have been accomodative ... we ended up going to central park for 2-3 hrs when the room was ready earlier but when we checked in she was not committing on time

Bardzo fajny pokój - zgodny z opisem. Sympatyczna i pomocna obsługa. Można zostawić bagaże na przechowanie. Wszystko super.

Jedyny minus to brak czajnika.

Oh my gosh the staff was absolutely amazing. We spoke often with Jess and Jerome. We could legitimately say that we made true friends on this trip with them. They made us feel right at home, we extremely friendly and had a plethora of advice, tips, and recommendations. They made our trip infinitely better. We also got to meet Zue on our last day and again, amazing. The entire staff is top notch. The rooms were comfy and clean. The location was just a quick walk away from the train so we were able to visit our hot spots relatively quickly. But again, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts to the staff!

Es war eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, mehr nicht U Bahn gleich in der Nähe..

Keinerlei sonstiger Service, 1 Stuhl, Schrank wenig Platz. Umgebung sehr gefährlich, nicht unproblematisch. Und da man immer- wenn auch nur einen kurzen- Weg von der U Bahn hat, ist das nur in einer Gruppe machbar,nicht alleine, zumindest am Abend. Am Abend ist alles zugemüllt, das aber immerhin über Nacht gereinigt wird

I love the cordial people. The 24-hour security at the front desk. Also how the environment inside shields you from the reality outside. Non-smoking environment

What I do not like you could not control, the heavy smell of marijuana when you walk out the door.
