"Left a lot to be desired."

The room smelled of smoke upon entering, exactly what you would expect after requesting a non smoking room specifically. The towels had spots and stains and the bathroom smelled like someone had been here not too long ago. The bed made a creaking noise with the slightest of movement and the sheets felt damp. Of course all the front desk attendant could do was apologise, instead of moving the guest to a better, cleaner room.
