USBeautiful hotel. Everything is updated, clean, and comfortable. I love the decor. The room was spacious and felt like a luxury hotel. Breakfast was great, with a lot of options. You can even sit outside while you eat. Staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable. Coffee pot with various flavored pods to choose from. TV is huge. I appreciate how there were places to charge my devices - ports on the backs of lamps, alarm clocks, a charging station beside the coffee pot. I would definitely stay here again. Convenient location, easily walkable, no traffic. Elevators are fast. Temperature easy to control. Window blinds all worked. In addition to a hair dryer in the bathroom closet, there was also a very nice light-up makeup mirror which I easily plugged in behind my bed to do my make-up. Also a make-up washcloth on the bathroom sink. I love the attention to these details. I will definitely stay here again.
The restaurant was closed the day I was there so I walked to a restaurant down the street that didn't have enough wait staff to keep up with demand. That could be why the restaurant at the hotel was closed as well, which is not their fault. I just wish it had been open because, being familiar with the area, I would rather not walk that area of Elkins alone at night, but it was well-lit, easily walkable, and I felt safe the whole time. The up-side about this location: there is a Dollar General within close walking distance if you need last-minute items. During the weekday, more restaurants are also open. The only other issue is that I found the luggage cart difficult to get through the door to the parking lot in back, by myself, I was still able to do it. I should have brought less stuff honestly.
