USWonderful historic hotel! Completely refurbished and updated. The room was attractive, cozy, immaculate, with a comfortable bed, and a beautiful bathroom, newly tiled. Amanda was warm, friendly and very accommodating. The little town of Burnsville is very quaint with a classic town square. Around the corner is the Carriage House restaurant which is classy and inviting with a varied menu, friendly staff. This hotel is a great find!

Nice rooms and very comfortable beds. I love the showers. The floors are kinda creaky when you walk on them in the halls.
USNothing because they wouldn’t let me bring my service dog inside
The fact that it says pets are aloud online but doesn’t specify that it’s only certain rooms that allow pets . So when you’re about to check in with a pet and they tell you your 6 lb Pomeranian service dog could not come inside , so I had to sleep outside in my car with my dog because there wasn’t a way for me to find anywhere else in this small town to stay , it was a horrible experience because she could have even charged me a pet fee after seeing I wasn’t from there or worked something out but she didn’t because I’m not one of her kind. But she made it her business to keep harassing me about my dog like as if she was concerned where I was going to keep my dog , it took everything in me to not tell this white woman to shut the hell up because I didn’t want to get kicked out the only hotel that was left . She said “you know we have cameras “ this was her way of trying to test me because she thought I was going to still bring my dog inside , I wondered if I was white would she have kept harassing me about my dog after I told her I wasn’t going to bring my dog into their stupid hotel . Looks like something from the 1930s , gives me the creeps. This hotel has racism etched in the walls floors and even the paint , This town has nothing but white people that don’t want blacks there so I won’t be back not even to WORK
