Everything was really nice!

Wonderful little hotel with friendly cats to greet us. Beautifully decorated and they thought of everything on amenities in the room.

We decided to stay at Rockhound Boutique since it was on the way to our next destination! This place was by far our favorite, with its uniqueness and the charm of the town and the locals. We enjoyed live music outside of the courthouse, which was within walking distance. Thanks to this stay, we will be stopping in more small towns as we travel! Thank you.

The owners of The Rockhound has a wonderful small property. My wife and I have travelled extensively in Europe and US and this room stands out as one of the best. No details were left out. We stayed in the Crystal Suite and it was large including a big bathroom and to die for shower. If you’re in Mount Ida for crystal mining try to book this property. Besides the room, it has a private, behind a fence garden with a wash station for cleaning your daily crystal finds, plus a fire-pit. They even have pockets full of mining equipment you can borrow for the day. Two restaurants are less than a black away. My only suggestion and it’s minor would be to add black out drapes. The building sits on a street with street lights that stay on all night. Downtown Mt Ida is very quite and the mattresses are very comfortable. Finally, I have to mention the adoptable cats that hang around the property. If you’re a cat lover and looking for a new cat, stay here and take one home. Thank you for a wonderful couple evenings

A Beautiful and Wonderful place to stay. We would have stayed a few more days but the hotel was already booked. I will Definitely be back and will be recommending this Experience to my friends.

We enjoyed the stay. The bed was super comfortable and the big bathtub was very relaxing. What a beautifully restored property. The yard/patio area was very welcoming and we enjoyed the 2 cats who were always happy to greet us at the door. We'll definitely be back

This was a great place to stay. Beds were amazing, the cats outside were friendly, and the rock wash station was super helpful. Nice and roomy!

Adorable property, and felt very luxurious !!! Loved the shower!!! Great location, close to the crystal mines and shops. Will definitely stay again!!!!

It was in center of town and very peaceful. My Ida is a very small friendly town. Although we didn’t use it really liked the garden area and facilities for rock cleaning. It was a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend
