The Alonzo Ward Hotel

Very clean safe area. Room was small but clean. The head of our bed was tilted down significantly. We had to put pillows between the box spring and mattress to try and level it out. Bed was way to soft, we did not get good rest.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Updated while keeping the historical theme of the building. Very nice overall experience.

There were no nearby restaurants to walk to that were open before 11..

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the room we were supposed to have wasn’t cleaned when we checked in, and we got moved to another room that didn’t have windows. The room was very nice though. Nice bed, good pillows, nicely renovated, with the softest clean carpet.

Charming hotel, the renovations were done well and a good, clean place to stay. Staff was great and would definitely stay again.
