"Maybe next , we'll pass on Cabot accommodations "

I always look for the nearest Hampton when traveling. In my experience, the convenient locations, the clean and comfortable rooms, the complimaentary breakfast was something to look forward to, especially the waffles... I always looked for the fresh coffee when I checked in, while my wife always looked forward to the complimentary cookies. This month, she and her sister stayed in Cabot. The location was key to this trip. But on this occasion, the room must have cleaned really quickly because there were infant clothes found under the sink. ??? There are no infants in this party. The air conditioning failed the next day. The staff was friendly in that they moved everyone to a room with a good AC, but one of the staff members mentioned it is a common event. Hmmmmm ? Before leaving, my wife and her sister witnessed a loud dispute between an employee and the manager ? that led to the employee quitting. Nothing came from it,but in today's time, it didn't seem like it was safe to enter the lobby. Disputes are going to happen but should be handled behind closed doors. I suppose that complimaentary cookies are a thing of the past too. Used to blame such things on 9-11, then COVID, now - who's to say? The question is - will we look to the Hampton for our next visit to Cabot AR. time will tell.
