During our trip to India, we stayed here twice. Really loved this hotel and the staff was really friendly and amazing. They even offered to be a point of contact for our whole trip if we needed any help at any point which was really appreciated and unseen before. Overall it was really great experience!

My experience at Bloom Hotel, Midicity, Gurgaon has been the worst of my life, and I would strongly advise others, particularly women, couples, or honestly anyone, to avoid staying here. It is completely unsafe and the management shows zero accountability. I stayed at the hotel from 26th to 28th September, having booked a three-night stay. On the morning of 28th September at around 10 am, housekeeping knocked on my door three times within barely a minute or two, and then directly used the master key to open my room and enter. The only reason the staff member could not fully enter was because the safety latch was on. Even so, he managed to open the door halfway, saw me inside in a vulnerable state, and then shut it. When I raised this serious breach of privacy, I was told that the hotel “follows the global policy of three knocks and enter.” First of all, this policy was never communicated to me by the reception or mentioned anywhere on their website. Secondly, even if such a policy exists, it was not followed properly, because the staff member never announced “housekeeping” while knocking. How is a guest supposed to know who is at the door, or respond within seconds, especially if they are asleep, in the washroom, or otherwise occupied? When I spoke to the hotel management, their response was dismissive and delayed, despite my repeated attempts to reach them. Eventually, when they did call me back, their stance was shocking: they argued that it was my fault for not putting on extra manual locks or using the “Do Not Disturb” card. My question is simple, why should a guest have to pile on extra locks when the automatic lock should already ensure safety? Isn’t that the basic expectation in hospitality? When I asked what would have happened had I been changing clothes or in the washroom, the response I received was even more disturbing: “In that case, we would see you and then leave.” Who gave them the right to see me in such a compromised state at all?

I had a wonderful stay at Bloom Hotel Medicity. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.
