Tellico Plains Cabin - 5 Acres, Backyard Creek!

Creek was not as accessible as we were expecting. We were disappointed by the road noise. Grill was completely rusted out and not safe to use. We had to microwave all meals, because the cookware was so damaged that we could not use it without the Teflon coating coming off in our food. A old note taped to coffee pot that read it was broken, so why was it not replaced? We were disappointed in the lack of privacy, as we unaware multiple rental houses were located on the same property. Toilet needs the fill valve replaced. We assume all houses are on the same water line, as water would randomly lose pressure and go ice cold while taking a shower even though no other water in our cabin was running. Washing machine is broken. Will not fill past 1/4 capacity. We had to use the trash cans as buckets to fill with water from tub. WiFi speed was only 2 mbps whereas it should be, at minimum, over 150. We do have to thank Liz/Tommy for going the xtra mile to get us replacement light bulbs, a battery for the beeping smoke alarm, and two space heaters to get us thru the nights without HVAC heat. Furnace went out multiple times and we had to rely solely on propane fireplace before they brought the space heaters. We greatly appreciate them finding repair company even on Christmas Eve. It could be a really nice cabin with just a few upgrades. The games, supplies, extra blankets, and all the small touches thruout made it feel welcoming and homey. Clean with comfortable furnishings inside & out.
