Steps to Surfside Beach: Ada-friendly Home

We had a weekend at beach vacation at this property with my family. The location is good, it is a minute walk from the beach. The house is spacious for family of 5. The kitchen has enough tools to make your own meals and clean. Bathrooms were clean. There were hand soap and towels. A few down sides are; - ants were everywhere. They bit my kids. A thorough pest control is necessary. - the comforters and blankets were dirty. They even had tiny blood stains, we thought they were ant blood. Probably other guests killed ants. We did not! Because I know ants swarm in if you kill o e of them. - all bed sheets and towels are dark navy blue. I would prefer them white so that it shows if that is clean. There were no way to tell. - both bathrooms had half roll of toilet paper. I would expect at least one refill under the sink. This one did not really bothered me much but almost all tile were cracked and moving as you walk on them. The tile floors need attention. - communication with the owner was not good. You probably try the guest service instead of the owner. That could be a hotels.com thing. This was the first time I rent a house from hotels.com. I did not like overall setup. Too many contacts to manage. Other than those, it was a lovely decorated, spacious home that is located very close to the beach.
