Nautical Galveston Home - Walk to Pleasure Pier!

Only 1 of the 3 heating units in the house worked. Not so great when the temps are in the 30’s. Called the contact person who could not get in touch with the property owner right away. Was finally offered the upper unit where we were staying only to find out that the heat didn’t work there either. They finally got someone out the next evening after going back and forth only to be told they couldn’t fix it. We had to use every towel and blanket we could find just to get comfortable enough to get to sleep. The internet had to be reset before we could finally get it to connect to the tv. None of the remotes worked (some did not even have batteries in them). The door handle kept falling off the bathroom door. Chair leg broke while sitting in it. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out and as we were packing up another one blew out and started smoking. Mold or mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom and one of the boards on the couch came off. Was told they would give me a 15% discount but that was the best they could do. Location was good for what we wanted but that was about the only thing going for it. Would not recommend staying here or anywhere else that Evolve is in charge of handling.

Everything was great, I am overall very satisfied, especially with the cleaness of the rooms. There is just one thing that I hope can improve a bit and it was the air conditioner in the bedrooms. Apart from that I hope to rent this house again.

The property needed a little attention. Door handle on the smaller bathroom kept falling off. The resident had lots of waterbugs, the air conditioner units in the bedrooms didn't work well, back rooms was hot. Shower curtain had lots of stains that looked like blood. Pictures posted look better than the actual units.

I loved staying at this property! We had a washer and dryer which came in very handy! An outside shower for after beach time: if you know you know. Parking in front of the property was readily available. Short walk to the beach! We were in the lower unit, so upstairs occupants may make your stay less quiet. It was quiet by 12:30am every night if our stay. Comfortable, convenient, and would definitely stay there again!

This house was perfect for my family. The 1/2 bath is tiny, but usable. We got a good laugh when each one went in to see how they 'fit' in the small space. The full bath is roomy & beautiful! The beds were comfortable & the individual air conditioners in each room worked out great. Everyone slept soundly. The kitchen was fully stocked with quality utensils, appliances & dishes.
