High Tide Inn

Everyone was so friendly from the moment we checked in until we checked out. We were only there one evening wish we could have stayed longer beautiful grounds with chairs to sit outside and relax. The room was so clean and the bed and pillows were the best so comfortable!

High Tide Inn is a very charming Inn. Holly and Mark went out of their way to make our stay memorable! The rooms were clean and cute. You can stay in the Inn, separate cottages, or in the ocean front rooms not attached to the Inn. Breakfast is included and not to be missed are Mark’s famous Pop-overs!

Our favorite place when visiting Maine! Great location and the homemade popovers and muffins in the morning are wonderful! The oceanfront rooms are our favorite as are the cottages.

We booked an oceanfront room 6 months before our stay. We received an email the day before our stay stating they had a structural problem and were moving us. We were way up the hill. Seems to me someone who booked 6 months ahead should get preference as to where they would be located. The room was very small and the bathroom was extremely small. When we turned the water on we got soaked as it splashed everywhere. There were very few electrical outlets. I seldom give a review, but we were very unhappy.

When we registered, Mark took us around the property and told us about where we could see the sunrise and where the moon would come up. So nice that it’s not all about how great the property is, because it is awesome, but he included information about how we could enjoy where the property was located. There was a beautiful view of the sunrise from the beach! There were many sitting places around the property where one could sit by themselves, with another person, or around a fire pit chatting with other travelers. Room #7 has an outstanding view through a sliding door. Large bathroom and living space. The popovers that were freshly prepared each morning were light and flaky, we only stayed a couple of days but would have enjoyed spending more time at the High Tide Inn.

Great location, close to Camden and next to ocean. One of the best fresh baked pastries we had, it was delicious muffins and turnovers. Very nice people, would love to go back some time!

Our bathroom needed more attention, towel holders kept falling off, but otherwise good room. Also parking is a little strange, I think if they had lines drawn on the parking lot, would help a lot, we kept getting blocked from parking our car when they had full rooms.

Swing chair on property was great for relaxing and watching and listening to the ocean. Friendly staff. Clean room. Well water tastes good.
