Panoramic Mtn View! Couple's Retreat in Gatlinburg

Great cabin my only suggestion upgrade the furniture it was a little worn. Other than that it was a perfect getaway. Will be back!

The cabin doesn’t look all that big or impressive from the road, but you’re only seeing the top floor from that vantage point. Inside, it’s very nice, with plenty of room and amenities and a good layout. The view from the upper deck is absolutely beautiful. There are bears around (we saw three walking along the road on our first two trips in from town), so keep that in mind and follow the bear country tips. It does take a few minutes to drive into Gatlinburg, and a few more to get to Pigeon Forge, but it’s not excessive. Be careful driving the roads up the mountain at night (especially the back road route GPS may give you from Gatlinburg), there are lots of dark, blind curves to navigate, and if you go even slightly off the edge of the pavement you’re in deep trouble; will be waiting for a tow. Gwen was very helpful; her tips and communication were great.
