"Nice location but not quite what we expected."

6.0

The property has a great location and a really nice neighborhood around it! Really convenient to things a person might need while staying in Tucson. The casita we had was not very clean - my wife had to re-wash the dishes and pots in the kitchen we wanted to use and we had to sweep the floor as well. The kitchen was missing some things one might want if actually using it to cook as opposed to heating something up. The property shared by the units was really nice BUT the furniture is very worn out and damaged - stuffing coming out of cushions, etc. The whole property has a bit of a deferred maintenance feel about it and we saw that it is listed on Zillow as for sale. We were also put off by the texts and signs in the property about doing an inventory of the contents and billing us for anything missing. There were lots of decorative items in our casita and honestly, the unit was small enough that many of these were in the way because we had so little area for our stuff. I like the idea of this place more than I liked actually staying there. If I had it to do again, I'd stay in one of the suites hotels that weren't far away which cost less and would have been more comfortable. But I really do like the location and the neighborhood - that was top notch.
