Ryokan Hiyoshi

駅から近くてよかった！朝ごはんがとても美味しかったです。

男性トイレの数が少なかったから時間帯が重なったときは、厳しいです。

Everything was PERFECT! :D The hosts were so kind and helpful :D The rooms are confortable and beautiful. The view is amazing too (from ours we could see a small jinja in the garden). The private onsen is great! It is possible to use it from afternoon to 9:00 am. The breakfast is DIVINE. I do recommend booking the breakfast option as well. It is one of the best foods we had in Japan (and we have been living here for more than 3 years) :D. Now we are finding excuses to come back Chichibu again :D.

We had a very good stay at Ryokan Hiyoshi. The room was great and the beds were super comfy. There was a well-lit powder room in the corridor as well as Dyson hairdryer in the room. It was ok walking distance to the train station. And the Japanese breakfast was really an experience. The onsen was great and the staff really made us feel welcome!

It took a little time for the water to get warm, but no big deal.

素泊まりプランだったのですが、それでもすごーーく満足度が高い1泊でした(；；) 施設全体が木造で雰囲気があって素敵だったのですが、その中でも特にお風呂が貸切式だったのでゆっくり温まれてとっても嬉しかったです🙌🏻✨ オーナーさんもとても良くして下さったので友人ととても楽しい秩父旅行を過ごせました。ありがとうございました🥲💕 またいつかお伺いできたら嬉しいです。

Nous avons tout apprécié ! L'accueil était parfait, l'hôte était disponible et accueillant, il nous a donné quelques conseils pour trouver une restaurent, ou nous avons très bien mangé ! Des petites attentions avec du thé dans la chambre, une petite pochette avec quelques accessoires pour la douche. Les bains étaient un vrai plus pour notre nuit. Un très bon rapport qualité prix ! Si nous repassons par la, c'est sans hésiter que nous réserverons à nouveau ici.

This small family-owned ryokan in Chichibu is a gem. We enjoyed a comfortable room experience, pleasant views, and a sumptuous breakfast. Make sure you book the breakfast when you book your room—it’s well made, delicious, and served with true elegance. The owner, Mr. Maekawa, was very gracious in making us feel comfortable and setting dinner reservations around town. There are many things to do in Chichibu and it’s only about a 10 minute walk to the Seibu-Chichibu Station, so although it is situated near a forest it’s not remote at all.

For Westerners not used to sleeping on futons, this type of bedding may feel a bit too firm. For others it may be a welcome experience.

朝食が豪華でとても満足感がありました。炊きたての新米がおかわりできるなんて思ってなかったです。友人は４杯食べていました。 部屋も2人で過ごすには十分で、ポットや急須に茶葉まで用意されていて、お土産屋さんで買ったお茶菓子でまったり過ごすことができました！ 当日は雨でしたが、部屋に入ると既に暖房で温められていて、そんなところにも気遣いいただけて嬉しかったです。 お布団も枕もふかふかで即入眠でした。

貸し切り風呂に入りたく早朝使用させていただいたのですが、何故かシャワーが冷水しか出ませんでした…。温度調整のバーを回しても変わらなかったので、理由は分かりませんが湯船だけ楽しみました。（それでも十分満足な１日でした！） お部屋の広さも2人で夜過ごすには十分ですが、お手洗いの音が丸聞こえなので、相当仲のいい人じゃないと気まずいです。 駅から離れた住宅街にあるので、景観は特にいいわけではないです。夜は街灯や人通りも少なく、熊も出るらしいので利用される際は早めにチェックインする事をお勧めします。
