"Most relaxing stay of our trip"

From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us very welcoming and friendly. The interior design and the general vibe of the place makes you feel at peace just by being there. The room was amazing. But our favorite thing was the public bath that we could use freely during our stay and most of the times it was even private as we were the only people there enjoying the whole place for ourselves. Definitely would look forward to stay here again on a future trip to Kyoto

That they didn’t invite us to stay longer. Honestly no negative review.

"Good location for exploring Kyoto."

The hotel was good without being brilliant for a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was ok, the location was good, the room was a good size and I have nothing much to complain about but it just didn't have that 5 star feel. The staff were great though.

Breakfast could have been a bit better.
