I had a very disappointing experience with Treebo Hotels. I booked a room through Booking.com for ₹1990 for one night check-in on 8th April and check-out on 9th April and had already paid. Before arrival, I requested early check-in via WhatsApp and phone. They clearly informed me that early check-in between 8 AM–1 PM would cost ₹800 extra, or it would be complimentary if the room was available after 10 AM. I agreed to these terms. However, when I reached the hotel, they suddenly demanded ₹2084 extra, saying my booking had “disturbed” their system. They insisted I pay first and then contact Booking.com later. This felt unfair and unprofessional. I refused, left the hotel, and had to book another room at the last minute, which was stressful with luggage and resulted in financial loss. Overall, very poor experience and lack of transparency. I would not recommend this hotel.
