Superb on all fronts

Excellent stay

Excellent location in south Bangalore. The staff were excellent and polite. The room was large, well-maintained and exceptionally clean. As was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing: vast menu and very good. Would definitely stay here again if required, despite the laundry service (explained elsewhere).

Two things: 1. The room wasn't ready despite us informing the hotel weeks in advance that we would arrive at 03:00 AM. We had to wait for 30-45 mins while a room was made ready for us. During the day, this would probably have been fine but it was exhausting at that hour to wait, after a long flight and taxi ride. 2. The laundry service. I'd recommend against using the laundry service. It's not in-house but a third-party laundry service that the hotel uses. Our laundry was delayed because there was apparently a washing machine failure at the laundromat; the hotel didn't inform us about this or even follow up until we asked them about the clothes. Even afterwards, the clothes arrived much after my girlfriend already left for the airport to catch her return flight. So the clothes she'd hoped to carry back were of no use, really. I'd recommend that the hotel either use a different laundry service or, at least, follow up more rigorously with them (and not wait until guests start panicking about it hours before they have to leave).
