The best place to stay at Tawang. Very accomodative staff. Made us feel so comfortable that we extended our stay by 2 days!

The building is beautiful, with clean rooms and decor.

Many basic amenities are not in place for the price: - The electricity is poor, and turns off every hour or so. The staff does not turn on the power backup unless explicitly asked. It gets extremely tiresome to call them multiple times and request for the power to be turned on. - The hot water in the bathroom is not sufficient. We were clearly told that it takes 20-25 minutes after each person showers, for hot water to be available again. In reality, it does take about 40 mins which means that a family of 3 takes more than 1.5 hours to shower! Once again, highly impractical and not at all appropriate for this price. - The staff is well meaning but service is extremely slow. It takes about 50-60 mins for any meal to be prepared. - Communication is a major challenge with any member of the hotel except a few. Understanding of basic needs and service standards is poor.

Ideally located property far away from the crowded town but easily reachable. Extremely caring and hospitable staff. Loved the ambience and the food.
