The noise of the airplane due to the location close the airport

Very nice staff. Apartments don’t have aircon so they offered the hotel instead. We still chose the apartment though. More room. Nice and spacious. Bit noisy with the airplanes, but was to be expected so close to the airport, slept fine nonetheless

No fridge. Even though it said there would be one. Also they forgot to turn on the water heater, so we had to shower cold u til we found the switch after reception told us

Front desk worker was very sketchy and rude. Acted like we didn’t pay for out property and acted like we were at the wrong hotel when we tried checking in. Not surprising as this is common between hotels in Turkey.

Great location and big property for the money. We stayed on a late flight, long layover and it was worth it. Only thing to say is that there is no AC but the breeze was enough.

The hotel is 15 mins cab ride from the airport. Ideally if you have a early morning flight.

The noise! The apartment is right in the path of one of the runways and starting at 2am, the airport must have started to use that runway, and every 5 minutes, a Very Loud plane would pass overhead, making it impossible to sleep! It was the worst night of sleep our family had ever had. We are a large family with teenagers so we know how to sleep with noise and activity, but this was like the plane was landing overhead. Unfortunately, we had just come off a 10 hr overnight flight from the US and were catching a flight early the next morning, so we did not want to stay too far from the airport. Had I known we would not be able to sleep because of the noise, I would have tried to find a place further out of the airport. The issue is the airport is about an hour's ride from the center of Istanbul with traffic, making it difficult to stay there when you have an early am flight. The kitchen does not have a refrigerator.
