KY Continental Apartments

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was an average experience. The facilities were quite basic and the quality was just okay. One issue I had was with the bathroom — the shower area wasn’t properly designed, so water would collect on the floor and not drain well. Also, one of the younger staff members was not very polite and even tried to take advantage of us by offering a poor exchange rate (USD to Turkish Lira). That was disappointing. On the other hand, two of the older staff members were very kind and helpful. They gave us good guidance and support during our stay, which I truly appreciated. Considering the price, it wasn’t too bad — not great, but acceptable for the budget.

Das hotel befindet sich in einer super lage! Bis in die stadt durch den park (kültür-park) ca. 10minuten zu fuß. Das personal ist wirklich sehr sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück finde ich persönlich nicht so gut (kaum auswahl). Die Zimmer sind geräumig haben aber einige mängel z.B flecken an der Wand, kaum licht im badezimmer, fenster was man nicht ganz schließen kann und kaputte Nachttische. Leider war die sauberkeit auch nicht das was ich erwartet habe. Das hotel hat definitiv potenzial wenn man sich mehr mühe geben würde.

Troppo chiasso anche in tarda notte

Konum iyi, ama özellikle temizlik konusunda iyi diyemeyeceğim. Her yerde izler var, rahatsız edici. Kahvaltı idare eder. Bir daha İzmir'e gelecek olsam tercih etmem. Personel çok güler yüzlü.

Where do I start. One of the worst hotels i have even been. So, the fist night we came, the shower was leaking (continued to leak the whole time), there was a broken censor light that would go off the whole night without anyone walking close to it. I told the staff and they did nothing. SO, i has to repair it and basically had to tape over the whole thing so it would stop. The next day we were told the breakfast was at 8.30, I came at 8.30 and was told to come again at 9 oclock. I came back at 9 and they were surprised we wanted to eat. The breakfast was included in the price btw. So, they gave us this old breakfast that was made like a day ago, no choice, no buffet, cheap place and old veggies. The next day we came after the whole day of tour and our room was not cleaned, there was no toilet paper and we needed more bath rugs since the shower was leaking. Nothing. I told this tall, young employee who told me that cleaning just wasnt done that day. I asked for a toilet paper and he said he was hungry and after he eats he will bring us toilet paper. Mind you, this was done with a major attitude on his part and eye roll. So, he did not come and I had to call twice to get some toilet paper. No breakfast was given for the next two days and we did not even try because it was old food. The last day we asked for a late checkout and they said yes and it was free, we checked out at 3 pm. Then when we were leaving the tall, rude guy came again asking us for more money for late checkout. At that point I exploded and told him that the least he can co after all this trouble is to give us extra 2 hours (they already said in the morning it was free). Oh, and last night someone moved in next room, had a party with hookers. So, no sleep last night. Absolutely DO NOT STAY in this hotel. One of the worst experiences of my life!!!!!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is excellent for visitors as it is near the bazar quarter(10 minutes walk) the coast (20 minute walking) an kültürpark and its museums (5 minutes). Metro is not far away either. The cons were the cleanliness of the hotel, which was far from satisfactory, and the fact that there is no parking, despite hotel’s claims that it has free parking. We had to leave our car in the streets near the hotel.
