Dev Mahal - A Boutique Heritage Hotel

This hotel is a bit of a heartbreak because you can see the potential for a stunning vintage stay, but it is currently overshadowed by a complete lack of maintenance. While the "old-world" aesthetic is there, it feels less like a choice and more like it hasn't been touched in decades.

The room itself had major functional issues. My windows were literally held together with duct tape, and the bathroom ventilator was completely broken. This made the zero soundproofing even worse—I heard every single car honk from the street from dawn until late at night. The dining experience was equally hit-or-miss. When the food actually arrived, it was quite tasty, but the service was a disaster. On my first night, I had to cancel my order entirely after waiting over an hour with no updates and no food in sight. It’s a shame, as a little bit of renovation and better management could make this place a gem.

I booked this hotel with a friend for 4 days / 3 nights. The rooms are very clean and lovingly decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. All of our requests were fulfilled within a very short time. After our stay in Jaipur, we continued our journey to Delhi. At the last moment, our taxi company cancelled our ride. Mr. Shaurab, the hotel manager, was able to quickly organize a ride for us to Delhi. Throughout our entire stay, we felt very comfortable and safe. We wholeheartedly recommend this small and lovely hotel in the heart of Jaipur and would happily come back!

Badly organised. Very small rooms. Chipped wall corners. Double Bed pushed to the wall and only one night stand. We checked in late and no towels whatsoever in the room. Took 35 minutes to get towels. Super noisy hotels. Loud noises throughout the night

Food was delicious. My room the last two nights was nice - wish I'd had that correct room the whole time I was there. Convenient location. Housekeeping was quick with any requests.

The room I was initially given looked nothing like the photos, and was on the ground floor (which I had requested not to be when booking for safety reasons (as a solo female) and due to previous reviewers' complaints of noise and smell). They said they never received my request, and had given the nicer rooms to a group of travelers (who were clearly the priority). I think they were hoping I would not notice, and it did not feel honest to me. They said I could have the room pictured with my booking for the last two nights, but I spent the first upstairs in a windowless room right next to the noisy restaurant - which was very loud until well after 10:30pm and again around 4am for kitchen worker prep.

Nettes, kleines Boutiquehotel in Bani Park mit sehr netten und hilfreichen Mitarbeitern. Man hat ein paar Restaurants in Laufweite. Um zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen braucht man ein Tuktuk und ist ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten unterwegs. Das Zimmer war klein, hatte aber ein Fenster, das man auch öffnen konnte. Bei uns stand der Schrank aus Platzmangel im Bad. Das ist weiter nicht schlimm, nur kann man ihn nicht zur Aufbewahrung nutzen, weil sonst alles feucht wird. Es gibt einen kleinen Innenhof zum Sitzen, entspannen geht nicht wirklich, weil der Lärm von der Straße sehr laut ist.

Frühstück Ist ausreichend, könnte abwechslungsreicher sein.
