Hotel Star City

Vorneweg muss ich das Personal loben, das durchwegs sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Ich habe 6 Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und hatte ausreichend Stauraum und Ablagefläche. Dies gilt auch für das Badezimmer, das eine getrennte Dusche und heißes Wasser hatte. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Ein großer Schreibtisch war vorhanden. WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei, ebenso der Kühlschrank. Eine Couch befand sich ebenfalls im Zimmer. Das Motorrad konnte am gesicherten Parkplatz abgestellt werden.

Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer war gut aber nicht perfekt. Speziell beim Spiegel hätte das Licht etwas besser (stärker) sein können.

Breakfast closing time should be extended. 9-9.30 am is not enough. If closing time is unavoidable, serve the food to the room or alert the stayer

The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our room was spacious, cozy, and very well-maintained, with both air conditioning and a fan available. The bathroom was equally clean and generously sized, adding to the overall comfort. The hotel offers all essential amenities, including cable TV and efficient in-room service. We booked our stay through Booking.com, and the entire process was seamless. One aspect we truly appreciated was the flexibility extended by the hotel they kindly accommodated our late check-out request at no additional charge, which reflects their excellent hospitality. The location is another major advantage, as the hotel is centrally situated in T. Nagar, making it easily accessible to many key places in Chennai. The lobby restaurant deserves a special mention for serving high-quality, delicious food. We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary breakfast for three days, a thoughtful gesture by the hotel management.

The staff were excellent and helped us heaps with finding restaurants, places to visit and shopping. Service to the room was prompt and done in the friendliest manner. Facilities are very new and the room spotlessly clean. We were extremely comfortable and in a perfect location.

Not a great view out the window but we were very busy anyrate and didn’t spend any time looking at the view.
