"Exceptional"

The heated floors were great, and the bath in the garden was an excellent way to unwind after a day exploring Kyoto.

The couch looks a lot more comfortable than it is. I don't think it can be helped, but leaning back on it is not an options.

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to multiple parking lots if you’re driving. Close to subway and many shops and restaurants close by.

If you have children and want to utilise the bath, the bath is outside so if you’re visiting in winter it will be very cold.

"Superb"

Door code thing was okay

We had to go to different location to check in first and take all our bags which 20 mins away and then they gave the room access code there at the reception which wasted our time. Plus they didn’t offer to transport bags for free. It was too much of a hassle to check in and go back there.

This house was very cool! We loved it. We are a family of 3 and so we had plenty of space. There was a Lawsons nearby and several restaurants - the one we tried was excellent. The bus stop was nearby making Kyoto easy to navigate. It was a lovely walk to Shorenin and Chionin Temples and Yasaka Shrine and the Heian shrine was just around the corner - perfect!

There was no bathroom upstairs. This didn’t bother us at all as our daughter took one of the upstairs rooms whilst we had the ground floor room.
