BDOur stay at Kabin Taka Kyoto was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The location is exceptional—just a short walk from the station and conveniently close to Kawaramachi, Nishiki Market, restaurants, shops, and many of Kyoto's main attractions. One of the biggest surprises was the room size. Having stayed in several hotels across Japan, we found the room at Kabin Taka to be noticeably larger and far more comfortable than most. It provided plenty of space for our family and made our stay much more enjoyable. The amenities were outstanding. Complimentary umbrellas were available whenever needed, and there was always easy access to fresh towels, robes, and other essentials. The property also offers excellent facilities, including microwaves, laundry rooms on two separate floors, meeting and common areas, a gym, and even a coin exchange machine. There was a LUUP station right outside, which made it easy to rent electric bikes and scooters for exploring Kyoto. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile. Overall, Kabin Taka offers fantastic value, excellent facilities, spacious rooms, and an unbeatable location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. One VERY VERY IMPORTANT THING - their luggage transfer system is the best. The service does not put any restrictions on the size and weight of the luggage to be sent .
The only minor drawback is that the front desk is not staffed after 11:00 PM. While there is a phone number provided for assistance after hours, having staff available later into the night would have been even better. Round the clock staff is available at their Kabin Tokyo branch - practically next street, who can also assist in resolving issues at Kabin Taka during off hours.

FRLa chambre était grande avec des rangements et une belle salle de bain. L'hôtel est bien placé et propose différents services. Nous avons pu avoir un lit bébé gratuitement ce qui est un plus. La salle de sport et le salon partagé sont faciles d'accès. Le personnel est sympathique.
AUFRL’hôtel est très beau et bien situé dans une petite rue calme mais très proche de toute l’animation. Le personnel est agréable et disponible. La chambre est grande et propre avec une petite table pour s’installer, la literie est très confortable, la salle de douche avec toilette est grande et belle. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour.
Seul petit défaut : la fenêtre se s’ouvre pas
