Nice clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. In the kitchen the basic things like salt, oil, ... where present. Walking distance from center, supermarket around the corner. Really easy to check in and quick respons to any questions.

The bed and pillows where not so comfortable. Pillows where really hard and flat and the bed was the cheapest IKEA bed you find in the store. Matras was also hard but still okay. And bring your own shampoo and showergel because there is just a sample version of a shampoo and a mini soapbar. Which is not enough if you shower more than once during your stay.

Great location near the water, restaurants and supermarkets, very cosy studio apartment, has everything you'd need, staff very responsive with questions and very helpful

Bed was quite squeaky so woke constantly with any bit of movement in the bed

Great location as 10-15 minutes walking from central Trieste and lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Also 15 minute walk from cruise dock.

When arriving after dark it can be intimidating especially for females as it’s relatively dark. More lighting would be great.

Great location. Easy to walk to bars restaurants and sights. Also convenient to have a supermarket practically next door and another a few minutes around the corner. Bed is very comfortable (although very creaky). Modern interior and lovely big shower. Great to have a washing machine although would be helpful to have washing powder (we had to buy our own) and an airer to hang clothes on to dry. We had to hang them around the apartment. Kitchen well equipped (although bottle opener needs replaced as is broken) and nice to have some coffee pods and the coffee machine. Would be good to provide a tea towel. TV with Netflix included was great. We got to catch up on a few shows when we were tired and needed a rest. Plenty of wardrobe space and generally a spacious apartment. Really good aircon which cools the apartment very quickly.

While the main window next to the bed has a shutter and curtain, there is a smaller window in the kitchenette area which has neither and so the room is bright from about 5am. We had to hang things over it to try to block the light. I think the hosts could do a better job with communications. The location they provide does not take you to the apartment and it took us a while (and asking people on the street) to find the apartment. I've included a picture which shows where the map takes you (the red pin) v where you need to go (the blue dot) Also, we should have had a key for the front door but this was not communicated so we didn't realise that it was missing (aparrently the previous guests forgot to return it) so we got locked out a few times. The hosts did try to rectify by leaving the automated opening on but it was a bit of a stress to not be sure if you could get back in each time you went out. And they sent me a message on the morning after our first night to say that we needed to check out by 10am even though we had booked for 3 nights. These things can be ironed out but I am mentioning so that the hosts can improve this aspect. It is advertised as including shampoo and body soap but only provides one small sachet of gel and a small bar of soap each. Not sufficient for a 3 night stay. I asked if that is all that is provided and did not get a response. If advertising this it should be enough for the stay booked. There seems to be some renovation going on in nearby apartments which was quite noisy from early in the morning. Additionally you can hear people talking and moving around in neighbouring apartments. Despite these few issues, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others, with a few tweaks.
