This hotel is super lovely. It has almost Bali vibes - lush and green, modern rooms with a kind of Scandinavian aesthetic. The rooms and entire hotel / grounds were incredibly clean. I’ve never experienced such brilliant housekeeping - be sure to leave a generous tip for them, they really deserve it! There’s a lot of choice for food and they have lovely fresh salad ingredients and healthy options. The beach down the steps attached to the hotel is nice and we loved the beds down on the sand - super comfy and good retractable shade. Sea is lovely to swim in and the hotel does yoga classes on the pier. Gorgeous cats everywhere on the grounds that we were really happy to see the staff being kind to - they have water and food in little tucked away areas for them. We had a super relaxing stay here.

We are both vegetarian and initially were really pleased with the choice we had for food each day (way more than typical resorts). However, we realised that quite often the labels were not accurate and stated dishes were vegan but we spotted chunks of beef etc in vegetable stews. This is not really acceptable and I’d advise caution if you’re veggie and certainty if you have any food allergies. The staff were not always very friendly - they seemed pretty grumpy most of the time, which was a bit of a buzz kill. Finally there were just a few little frustrating things about how the place operates. We enquired about a late check out as our flight wasn’t until the evening. This is something the hotel offer. We were told to come and enquire at reception the day before checking out, which we did. The man on reception told us to come back at 9am then next day - pretty annoying to not know when we are checking out the next day but whatever. Went back at 9am as instructed and were told to come back an hour later, and then the same thing happened so we just gave up. How can a hotel not know that close to the time whether later check out is possible? It’s the same for trying to book a cabana, the a la carte restaurant, etc - you are told to come back. Finally, they cut off our wifi access after we checked out, despite us being at the resort until 6pm - pretty harsh for the amount this place costs. Little things like that dampened it a bit, but generally a great stay.

Everything was amazing! The food, the drinks, the facilities. We genuinely enjoyed our stay regardless of being unlucky with the weather.
