"Surprising place"

10.0

When we arrived a por hotel we were somewhat disappointed, it was not what we were expecting. We had been told that we would be staying in a good 4 star hotel. Saying that the welcome was good, the room very dated but clean. We had a good hot dinner and our main dish was served to us at the table, the food and soup were hot. The waiter couldn't do enough for us I even had more soup! We were dreading sleeping in our room but we had the best night's sleep ever. The beds were so comfortable. The next morning we went to reception at 0630 and a very nice gentleman made my husband some Turkish tea. Then at 0700 we went up for breakfast, where we were greeted like royalty by the same waiter as the night before. He was extremely efficient and very kind. The swimming pools looked lovely. If you are disable there is no lift but they did everything to accommodate my husband. Thank you. You deserve 10 stars. Then selling books at the door of your hotel doesn't give a good impression, his books are 2 euros more than in the Onyx factory.

We did a two day trip from marmaris to visit the cotton mountain and had to stay over night here it was a long trip but the hotel was cheap but very friendly and clean and cheap the food was not up to much but when you get up in the morning and open your windows to see lots of hot air ballon tacking off right in front of you it’s magical

"peaceful but not fancy"

8.0

The hotel was very close to the travertines. just 5 minutes walking distance. the swimming pool was very nice and they had a pool with thermal water. the breakfast was nice- everything seemed fresh- tomatoes , eggs, milk and bread were very nice. the rooms were awful :( no eleveator, and the shower was a nightmare but thank God we went there in summer. but despite all those things we had a good and peaceful sleep.

"amazing hotel all over"

10.0

Located at walking distance to the travertines and the main street. It was peaceful, clean and comfortable. The owners were amazing. Our rooms faced the swimming pool with a personal balcony for use. Highly recommended

"Must have been a great hotel years ago ..."

4.0

The room in the 3rd floor (no elevator, I have a bad leg) was to say the least, tired. No fridge, no kettle, toilet was not flushing! Tired towels, tired bedding. Great pools: cold and hot water ones. Breakfast was despicable, really large room with mostly Russian and Chinese tourists. Location is good.

"Cheap but not cheerful"

4.0

Once again, the pool and location was the only saving grace for this tired old place. When I walked into our room, there was a 14” CRT TV in the corner. Total time warp. Kids didn’t even know what it was 😂. Rooms a bit grotty and shower goes hot and cold intermittently and had little pressure. Aircon worked well. I did however get a good sleep, partly due to the fact that there were not many guests staying here. I could imaging that if this place was fully booked, it would be chaos, as all the rooms overlook pool area. Breakfast was the most meagre affair in Turkey yet. Ransid butter, no brewed coffee, packet mix OJ, no cereals, no fresh milk, no yoghurt and seriously stale simits. The only thing good about the breakfast was leaving the table. Wifi was sketchy at best, although I did manage to convince manager to reset modem and it improved slightly. Pool area was good and they had a shaded bar area which was great but inflated prices as one would expect.

"3* is a very BIG stretch!"

4.0

Stayed here overnight as part of Ephesus/Pumukkale overnight trip. Not surprised the company we booked with would not give us the hotel name to check before we booked! Our room - Ripped worn carpets, broken sink, dirty walls, no mattress/pillow covers, too small sheet on bed, holes in bedding, mattress done, dirty & mouldy shower. It's a sad day when all you can say is a least the bedding was clean, isn't it?! The dirty dining room was unappealing but dinner was not bad. Breakfast...hmmm....not as good! Cheap instant tea/coffee and sickly strawberry juice were drinks offerings. Plenty to eat but definately catering for the Russian market. All in all I would rather have paid a little more for a little more! :/

"Nice"

10.0

We slept in the Uyum hotel for one night during our Pamukkale trip. The rooms were tiny and a bit dated but for one or two nights it was fine. The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice little terrace near the pool. Speaking about the pool: it is great! So big and nice and open till 23.30! There is also a very warm bath inside. The food was in buffet vorm. I liked it a lot. Lot of choices. The people were also very nice. We had a fun night drinking piña collada's, Pamukkale wine and shots at the terrace near the bar. Also, this hotel is super close to the highlight of Pamukkale; the chalk springs. You can walk over there or take a cap and walk down. I had a nice time. If the owner of this place keeps investing in making the terrace more traditional and beautiful, this could be really something.
