Iron Horse Station

Great lodging above the historic tavern. Rooms very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our surprisingly large comfortable room had a king and historic charm of the clawfoot tub, a throwback to earlier times. Room had plenty of seating. No tv. Good wifi.

Wish there was a microwave.

Awesome historic hotel. Owners treat you like family. Restaurant / bar downstairs. Food was excellent and craft beers on tap. What else can you ask for.. Enjoyable stay!

Great atmosphere

We loved our stay in the bunk room, but a railing on the top bunk would be a good addition. I kept waking up through the night thinking I was about to fall to my death 😂 the room was clean and the location was perfect.

Wonderful stay!!! My husband & I have issues with ambulating & Connor was so very helpful. So enjoyed conversations with other guests. The restaurant was delicious. If you want to hang out in a quiky tiny little artsy town this is the place to go. Also enjoyed hanging out @ the coffee shop next door where hikers from the app trail would come. So many interesting people.

Check in was with a somewhat unfriendly person who seemed a little put out he was having to do his job. Once we were checked in nobody was there at the desk for the whole duration of stay including check out. No receipt was available for the credit card charge. My wife and I had stayed in the past several years ago and it was a wonderful experience. We had been looking forward to returning for my birthday and Iron Horse was just not what it used to be.. Cleanliness was not up to standards. We go to the restaurant often because of Iron Horse proximity to our home and have never been disappointed. It is great and the food is awesome. The inn however has become less than satisfactory and we will not return.

It’s inconsistent …. DO NOT book room 202. It is SO SO SO LOUD you hear everything from the street and the kitchen. It’s criminal they charged me what they did for this room. Other rooms are probably nice
