The location is good, walking distance from uchisar castle and if you have car it is just 10 min drive from main goreme.

There was dust in the room and cig buds as well.

The owner is very nice everything is super clean

A lovely homestay in a quiet village, clean, comfortable and very generous breakfast.

We had the most comfortable stay at Stone Owl. The room was lovely. The owner was fabulous. It is a 5 minute walk to Uchisar castle and the main street of Uchisar which has many options for food. The accommodation is in a quiet street. The temperature when we were there was -10 Celsius and we felt very warm and cozy in the room.

There was nothing. It was one of the most comfortable of our stays in Turkey

The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from many of the region’s top attractions, making it super convenient for exploring without needing long transfers. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast! Every morning, they served a generous spread of fresh, local, and homemade options, from delicious cheeses to traditional Turkish specialties. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Beyond that, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made the experience even more special.

The room had a window without blinds, so the early morning light streamed in, making it a bit difficult to sleep in. The blanket on the bed was also a little small for two people, and while there was heating, the room didn’t always feel as warm as I would have liked, especially during colder moments. Despite these minor issues, I really enjoyed my stay and would still recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality, great location, and fantastic breakfast. With just a few adjustments, it could be absolutely perfect!

Spacious room, clean, excellent property , lovey location just 2 minutes away from Uchisar castle and shops/ restaurants.

The owner is an amazing host, we were going to leave around 6am to see the balloons he went out his way and prepared us pack lunch. Never had a host as thoughtful as this guy.
