Easy walking distance from the train station and getting to the town center. Clean and very spacious.

Was contacted the day before check in by the owner of the property that I needed to pay in cash $12.50 per person for bed linens and towels (added up to be $50 for my family of 4 that we weren’t planning on and only staying 2 nights), when I wrote back I had never heard or encountered having to pay for basic bed linens and towels and that it wasn’t listed on the description of the property when booking I was just told I should of known but they would take note. Upon arrival it is not 3 bedrooms but 2 with one room having 3 twin size beds. The twin size beds had no blankets, just a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. Check out says between 9-10am and at check in we confirmed with the owner we would check out at 10am. Day of check out the owner was knocking/ringing the door bell at 9:20 telling us we needed to get out. We were still in the middle of packing our stuff up so she just stood in the hallway waiting for us to leave.

This was a lovely apartment near the center of town. We had the opportunity to meet the owners who were wonderful, helpful and caring people. They took pride in their apartment. My only concern was the additional sheets/towels per person cost of 12.5E. It seemed a bit excessive but I’ve never had such a charge to compare it to. The booking agent collected this fee. I recommend they roll it into the overall rental cost so all costs are known upfront. Otherwise, a lovely apartment that I would return to.

Quiet location. Spacious apartment. Very clean and nicely furnished. A short walk into the historic centre of Tropea. A fantastic base for exploring this area of Calabria.
