JOIVY Cute flat near the Aquarium

The interior design of the flat.

Completely unsuitable for rest and sleep. A gang screams from evening until dawn in the ground floor courtyard in front of the bedroom. We spoke to the residents, they said yes, they know about the problem, drug dealers and prostitutes have settled in the alley courtyard of the house. Sometimes they call the police on them, but they always come back, they are powerless against them. We tried to sleep in another room of the apartment, but you can hear the gang screaming and raving everywhere all night. They quiet down around 6 am. And this goes on every night...

È un appartamento molto carino e caratteristico. C'è tutto il necessario. Sta molto vicino all'Acquario, e per chi ha i bambini è proprio una fortuna. Per il resto c'è un ottima organizzazione.

È un appartamento molto buono, servirebbe solo un occhio in più alla pulizia (nel contratto che si firma è specificato di lasciare la struttura pulita, a questo punto non so da chi dipende).

Excellent Location close to Port and shops and Busses

Flat was spacious for the 2 of us, with 2 bathrooms (one with a great shower), was clean, and in a fabulous location for sightseeing. Neighbours to the back of the building were incredibly loud all night, but bought some ear plugs then had no problem sleeping! There were some issues with the lights on arrival but we reported it and all bulbs were immediately replaced, so was sorted really quickly and efficiently. Some small things that would have made a big difference would have been the addition of a kettle, an electric coffee machine and a chopping board, but everything else you could need was there, and we were really close to lots of cafes. All in all had a great few days, and loved being so close to the marina and the old town.

I stayed here for 4 nights in April. We were able to walk from the Genova train station to the apartment 16min. The staff meet me outside with the key. He showed me the apartment. It was equipped with a sofa bed a small study kitchen with a dining area, 1 bathroom and a power room and a bedroom. It was very spacious and was on the 1st floor upstairs. Just outside was a backery with great italian breads and many shops. Best part is the location. It took 4mins to the port where you can find restaurants and the Genova aquarium. You can take several excusions by boat and a easy walk to the mesumus and center heart Genova Ferrari (water fountain). I would book it again. The room was cold but there was a heater and air conditioning for hotter days.

Nothing! On the booking in the description saying 2 bedrooms apartment and is NOT(is 1 bedroom ) and there is a sofa bed. It is dark , no natural light , very noisy and the area is rough ( not for family) unless you go for party all night and don’t need to sleep . I don’t know what kind of people keep talking on the phone and loud music all night by the bedroom’s window!Very rough location!

The host was in touch with me prior and at the time of arrival. The property is located very close to all the major attractions and its very convenient nd safe area. AC and other facilities made the stay comfortable.

WiFi router can be placed in the center so all areas of the house get full signals 😊
