Mendo Bungalow

The view and location was great.

The coffee maker made Luke warm little cup of coffee. No tea was provided. The fire place outside couldn't be turned on because the receptionist didnt know how to turn it on.

Far out man!

The unit itself was incredible. It was comfortable, well maintained, and made for a really enjoyable stay once inside. The woman at checkout the next morning was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated.

The front desk check in experience was disappointing. I was given the key very briefly with no WiFi or property instructions, while the couple checking in behind me received a full and detailed walkthrough. The difference in treatment was noticeable and made me feel unwelcome, which took away from the overall experience.

After we stayed there, we decided to stay longer somewhere else. We went to Little River Inn in Albion and got a deluxe room with fireplace, mini kitchen set up, a jacuzzi bathtub and a large private deck for 2 people and it was only $383+taxes. They also had a restaurant we could order meals delivered to our room. Mendo Bungalows had none of that and charged $600/night. The rooms were too small with 2 beds you had very little room plus no table and chairs to sit at. We will not come back. We will go to Little River Inn in the future.

We liked how spacious the room was and the two beds were large and comfortable. It felt like we had our own little home! It was also very easy to check in and out and pet friendly. Also a short drive to town!

It would have been nice to have access to a hot tub and the price was a little steep.
