Primula Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Great location right outside of the touristy area of Bellagio. Lots of wonderful walking, hikes, local restaurants and bakeries, with easy access to San Giovanni and the ferry's. Super comfy place with a balcony. Clean, comfortable, easy.

No hot water and a super slow process to get it fixed. We were only here for 4 night's and it still wasn't working. Cold showers everyday! Not too bad but wish it could have been attended to.

The apartment features fresh bedding for two beds, a comfortable sofa, and an equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals.

Not all outlets worked properly, and the bed was too soft and unstable.

Pros: nice layout, good location, good internet, free parking. Cons: poor communication and broken laundry machine. The laundry appeared to work but then the clothes were soaked due to a poor spin cycle. Aside from that the clothes were not clean. I reported to then property manager and they said to just hang the clothes and they’d let me know. Shortly after they asked when we were checking out and from that point on we were ignored. 24 hours went by and our laundry was still wet and started to get a moldy smell. Expedia couldn’t get a hold of the host and provided me with compensation. If you plan on doing laundry or want customer service, avoid. There are other reviews on the internet mentioning the laundry issue but I didn’t realize it until after. There was also visible mold in the entryway.

The location was okay, 20 minutes by feet to city center.

Generally it is less convenient to book with Wonderful Italy as additional check-in is required and lots of e-mails are received everywhere (via booking and WhatsApp). Also when I checked in there was a problem with the toilet flush and few sockets were not working. So I don’t recommend this apartment.

The location was good, around 15 minutes from the main streets. Great view from the balcony. I think it is great for a few days to stay when the weather is not too cold or too hot. The bed was comfortable but a bit short (not really a problem for us). I think it is quite well equipped.

It was a bit cold during the night as heating was on only for some time during the day. Due to this, we could not dry our wet clothes (we had a few rainy days). There is no A/C (only few fans), so I assume that it would be hard to stay during the summer. Also, the apartment is quite dark; there are only a few windows, and if it is a bit cold outside, you cannot sit in the balcony. The window to the balcony is small.
