"A disappointment"

The apartment was beautifully inside and out (nice private patio) and the bed was comfortable. It was very peaceful and private.

The location was at the top of a steep, rutted, gravel road that required a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Because we did not want to rent a car, getting to Lucca (25 minutes, 45Euro) by taxi was our only option. We ended up leaving 3 days early because the hassle of getting to town outweighs the benefits of the accommodation. Also, the kitchen included no basics (salt, pepper, olive oil, tea/coffee). This seemed surprising given the price point.
