[CENTRO-LECCO] Romantico Appartamento sul Lago

it was in the city center and close to everything, the apartment was very nice and modern

Great location for Lecco. Close to train, groceries and restaurants. Apartment was clean and washing machine is very helpful Good coffee and snacks provided Easy to contact owners and very responsive.

Climbing 3 floors with all your luggage was challenging. Bed is a pullout.

Great location, easy to find. Nice to have a washing machine and bottled water in the fridge.

Having to use WhatsApp to checkin and get instructions is a pain for those of us who don’t regularly use the app. It would be nice if communication could be done through email as well.

The system for opening both doors (of the building and of the appartment) is cumbersome. The first thing we noticed when we entered the appartment was the musty smell. The walls were dirty and had stains from a possible flood or something. The nightstands had stains. The kitchen was dirty, the fridge was dirty. The bed linen and the towels were very old. The shower is very small and narrow. There is a hole in the outside wall, right next to the bed, an improvisation of some sort that made the appartment very noisy. There was also some misleading information: on Booking.com it said that the appartment had parking, but after I booked it, I received some info that we could park on the white parking spots (public), if we could find any or in a parking garrage that was close to the appartment, also if we could find a spot. So the owner does not provide parking. Also, for the online check-in, we had to send a photo of each guest holding his/her ID, which wasn't very pleasant... I definitely wouldn't recommend this appartment.

Perfect location for a short stay
