Birds of Paradise

The house was fine . It was clean but not well stocked.

No hot water. We arrived on Sun . and the cleaners were still there. So it was 4:20 before we could get in.we all took showers and only the 1st one was warm . The other 5 were cold. I reported it that night. They assured me there would be someone out to fix it. This went back and forth every day sometimes several times a day. I have it all saved. No one ever came to fix it. Cold showers for the entire week. Reported it to booking on Wed but got no response. Won't be using them either. All they gave back was 10$ a person per day for the inconvenience. Not enough. I spent so much time away from vacation trying to get them to take care of it. I have found the owners and will report to them too.

The house is very clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Just an FYI- the coffee maker is old school- brew a pot, not a Keurig. Important to know if you are a coffee drinker so you know what type of coffee to bring. The driveway is nice and cemented- which is nice compared to the other places we have stayed at in Surfside which are mostly gravel. Location is great, you can see and hear the ocean. A small 1-2 minutes walk to the beach. All bedrooms are upstairs. The only small issues we noticed where the front door knob is barely hanging on. Its not in use because there is a keypad, but still noticeable. Also there was a stain on a rug upstairs- not a big deal. We tried to email both of these things when we arrived, but they were not deliverable. Great stay, I've already recommended this place to a couple friends.

For the first time, I found a place that looked even more stunning in person than in the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the staff who reached out to us were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our entire stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and cannot wait to return!
