Happy Family Apartments Lanterna

J’ai adoré l’emplacement de l’appartement, en plein centre de Gênes — tout est accessible à pied ! L’appartement était très propre et le check-in s’est déroulé facilement et sans souci.L’hôte a été très gentil et compréhensif lorsque nous avons eu un petit problème pour rendre les clés.Dans l’ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons vivement cet endroit !

l’ascenseur est tombé en panne le jour de notre départ, ce qui a rendu la descente des escaliers avec de grosses valises et des enfants un peu difficile de 4eme etage.

The apartment is placed right in the centre of the Old Town, close to Aquarium and other attractions. It was clean, easy to get in and out. Perfect for our group of 5. Hosts were very responsive, too.

The charge for not doing the bins at checkout seems a bit steep. So make sure you throw away any rubbish.

The location and cleanliness.

The host was very annoying, checking on us every day with the video call. It was surprisingly uncomfortable for us. Also we have to speak with some tax expert, because our host made a mistake in tax documents, which were provided to the municipality.

Big clean apartment, amazing beds, a lot of natural light, all the facilities included. A downside would be that after the booking was made, we received a list of unusual requirements comparing to all other accommodations such as: - a lot of paperwork to fill with all our personal data which took 20min at least to fill in - requirements regarding the garbage with a fee if not collected , etc. Overall, we had a pleasant stay because the apartament was impeccable.

It was spacious with nice design and kid-friendly.

The location was not good - the area was full of prostitutes in the narrow streets and stench there.

Very nice central location, can get everywhere by foot or quickly to the near metro station. Touristy area, can get a bit loud, but wasn't an issue for us. The apartment has everything you need and the "HFA staff" caters very well to any additional needs, always available via phone or Whatsapp/email.

One noteworthy downside is that the apartment and building are poorly soundproofed, which went both ways for us, you could hear neighbours throughout the late night and at the same time we got reprimanded to be more quiet during rest times. Which can be challenging with 3 small children... :)
