Irnerio Apartments by Wonderful Italy

We loved the location close to stores, and a huge park with a playground, restaurants and about 13 minutes to the train station. Big light-filled apartment with 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining room area and 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

The beds were definitely uncomfortable for some adults. We made it work but better mattresses would be appreciated. The main problems we had were spotty internet which we were never able to get fully resolved with management. Also, the main power breaker kept switching off even when we didn't have a lot of things going at a time. Make sure you know where the breaker box is located. Also, you get some starter toilet paper and then need to buy your own if you need more.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. Excellent location for accessing the old town in 5-10 minute walk. However, street outside very noisy - see below. Two bathrooms which was great for a party of five, with age ranges from 19 to 85. Two large double bedrooms which were great. Twin room for 19 & 21 year olds was fine. Plenty of storage space in all bedrooms - drawers, cupboards. Good kitchen with all usual things - bottle opener, corkscrew, glasses, cutlery, plates & bowls. Didn't go to Bologna to cook in the apartment so no problems there. Kettle was dirty so we did not use that. Boiled water in a pan for odd cup of tea/coffee. Good other basics too - bin bags, washing up liquid, shower gel. We were on the 4th floor so the lift was essential! Overall very good apartment with a great location. Gave 8/10 score because of the busy street and only one set of keys - see below.

Only one set of keys. As a party of five with age ranges from 19 - 85 years old two sets of keys would have made life easier. If anyone went back earlier they had to come down four flights of stairs to let the others in. Not ideal if they were having a siesta or having to wait up for others to return. This is something Wonderful Italy (hosts) could easily sort. Although the apartment is an ideal location for quickly walking into the old town, the street below is VERY noisy at night. There is a bar right underneath the apartment building which is very busy and open until after midnight. Via Irnerio is also a main thoroughfare so gets a lot of traffic. Including boy racers on motorbikes at 1am! And street cleaners from 4am onwards! This is not something Wonderful Italy can change so ear plugs are an essential. If you are a light sleeper it may not be the place for you. If not for the keys and the noisy street (and dirty kettle) I would have given the apartment 10/10.

Nous étions 2 familles - Appartement confortable avec 2 salles de bains Bien situé Contrairement à certains commentaires, celui-ci n'est pas si bruyant même s'il se situe sur le boulevard Fenêtres fermées nous n'entendons rien de la rue et il est pourvu de la climatisation donc on peut tout à fait y vivre fenêtres closes, d'autant plus qu'il est au 5ème étage (avec ascenseur) Le rapport qualité-prix pour l'emplacement et les prestations est excellent Nous recommandons

Un petit manque d'équipements de cuisine (notamment d'ustensiles et de torchons) même s'il est bien fourni avec un lave-linge, un lave-vaisselle et un four en fonctionnement

Appartment met our needs, only there for 3 nights, didn't need to be there during day so didn't do any cooking etc. Cafes and bars close by.

Two toilets / showers for 8 people but we knew before hand. However, one toilet seat badly cracked, sent picture to agency who said they would replace, this didn't happen during our stay, other toilet seat was loose as well. You also need to specify what beds you need in advance.
