La posizione ottima

TUTTO! Dal primo giorno era sporca, le lenzuola, le asciugamani e i servizi. Volevo utilizzare dei bicchieri ma erano SPORCHISSIMI E UNTI. Abbiamo chiesto una pulizia della stanza, dopo 3 giorni hanno fatto venire la signora delle pulizie che ha sottolineato di dover fare solo ed esclusivamente la doccia… ha fatto tre spruzzi nella doccia, senza nemmeno aprire l’acqua ed è andata via: 2 minuti cronometrati. La sera stessa, appena rientrati, abbiamo trovato un’invasione di blatte nel mobile della spazzatura e sotto il divano, rischiando che entrassero nelle valige. Abbiamo chiamato l’assistenza per farci dare un’altra stanza immediatamente, ma inutile dire che non c’è stata alcuna risposta per via dell’orario. Dopo aver dormito una notte in macchina, in quanto non ci sentivamo sicuri a restare in stanza, ci siamo recati alla sede di gestione di Wonderful Italy a Siracusa, abbiamo raccontato la problematica e si sono subito messi a disposizione per darci un’altra camera. Sono stati molto gentili dal vivo, ma per quanto riguarda l’assistenza telefonica sono da bocciare. Nonostante la gentilezza nel darci un’altra stanza, non dimentichiamo la brutta esperienza…

The location of the property is good.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the standard of the property. When we arrived we noticed hand prints, marks and stains all over the walls, indicating the property hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower has mold and rust all over it. There were also hairs all down the walls in the shower which we found before we used it. Additionally when we arrived to the property we noticed a sliding door against the back wall of the apartment, we had to ask the host what this was. She explained that it connected the 2 apartments, however as two young females who did not know this was a part of the property it made us feel quite unsafe. There are also no blinds on the windows of the front door making it incredibly difficult to sleep throughout the night and morning. There is no window that is accessible to open to allow for airflow. We were very disappointed with you stay.

The staff was extremely nice! The apartment is located in the old town, very convenient location, close to everything! It was quiet and we slept great.

The refrigerator did not close, it also needs to replace some things In the bathroom.

La stanza sapeva di muffa, molto rumorosa soprattutto al mattino si sentiva chi scaricava in strada dalle ore 6 come se fosse dentro l’appartamento. La finestra non era minimamente isolata o oltre ai rumori Entrava la luce del lampione della strada ma non c’era la possibilità di oscurare. La televisione non funziona e il soffione della doccia era arrugginito. Consegna delle chiavi in ritardo di 15 minuti rispetto all’appuntamento previsto.

The location is super comfortable, near the sea (it took like 5 mins to the closest beach). The apartment was pretty and comfy as well. With air conditioning, closet, comfy bathroom.

I would say that it could be more clean as the sheets were dirty (there were some stains) and I asked 2 times to change them: the first time owners managed to bring only sheets without pillowcases. Also, when I asked about changing towels they said me that it was not possible without additional payment. I find it such a weird, cause we stayed 10 days. Also, the apartment is situated like in a cave, so you’ll find only 2 windows and no balcony, so it will definitely be humid.

The location of the property is great. The interior is fresh and clean and very welcoming.  it is really walking distance to everywhere on the island from here in the street is very safe and lit up at night.  The unit is street level so you do not have to carry luggage up and down any stairs, and the door access is very nice. 

The exterior street lights are so bright. It feels like daylight all night in the unit and there are no blinds to pull over the front doors with the windows. Well, they supply a small coffee maker in the room for espresso, there is no coffee. There is also no tea pot for tea. When I inquired About possibly getting coffee or if it was missing, I was told you go buy your own coffee. This is just a little odd, as we were there for a day and a half, and really can’t go to the store and find a specific type of pod for a coffee maker, and I feel this is really cheap on the end of the hotel. The bathroom is overall very clean, but the rack in the shower for the soap holders is badly rusted and just looks horrible. Also, the showerhead and such is also rusted and needs to be replaced. The last issue is not with the unit itself, but with the company. I was constantly bombarded with things from their company via WhatsApp, email, and the Booking.com site. It was all in reference to booking a scourgings and things through their company, and it just didn’t stop .
